The Role

As a Citrix Administrator, your role will be to provide Server Platform Administration services for WorldPay UK and ROW, in relation to Wintel, playing an active role in the Data Centre Services team to shape and continuously improve the server platform service functions.

Key Accountabilities

- Ensure that the support and administration of Production including Pre Production Environments (PPE), Test and Development physical and virtualised server (platforms) to agreed performance, and cost metrics.
- Proactive management of the WorldPay platforms environments and recommendation of measures to improve service delivery to the WorldPay customer base and ensure that database systems are kept as current as possible within an economic model..
- Evaluate system performance and produce reports to recommend and implement platforms improvements as appropriate.
- Produce and sustain currency of relevant technical and operational process and procedure documentation for Production, PPE, Test and Development platform environments.
- Active and effective member of the Data Centre Services team participating in the shaping and continuous improvement of the platform services functions.
- Provide effective cover for other members of the platform services team as required during absence.
- Rapid response to and resolution of WorldPay database incidents.
- Execution of authorised and controlled change for WorldPay platform changes.
- Management and implementation of upgrades to platform services.
- Fault diagnosis and resolution for platform issues.
- Escalation of critical issues in accordance with designated process and procedures.
- Deliver platform services to agreed Service Level and Operating Level Agreements

Work with the WorldPay Enterprise Architecture team to help evaluate and recommend products to improve the availability of platform services. - Take part in callout rota to cover overnight support and be available for out-of-hours work when required.
- Participate in discretionary projects/engineering tasks as agreed.
- Development and Automation of platform processes and procedures.
- Manage installations and software upgrades to ensure databases are kept as current as possible and that license audit is performed and all licenses are in place.
- Manage the configuration and operation of WorldPay platform services and data models.
- Ensure that WorldPay Information Security policies and guidelines are adhered to for all platform services.
- Interface and maintain relations with other WorldPay IT teams.
- Deliver reporting on platform performance metrics.
