Cisco Unified Communications Engineer - Video

Required specialty with Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure & software supporting video conferencing. This will include engineering support of Cisco TelePresence systems and Cisco MSE & VCS hardware. Candidate will also require administration experience with Cisco TMS 7 Conductor software.

KEY COMPONENTS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

- Must have strong engineering and design experience.
- 3-5 years of enterprise experience engineering Cisco Video Infrastructure
- Communications skills to interact with multiple technical groups and end-users alike
- Core network competencies to include the engineering & troubleshooting of routing/switching protocols & security services to include:

o TCP/IP Packet Analysis
o Spanning Tree, Trunking, VLAN & other Layer 2 technologies
o BGP/EIGRP Routing, HSRP, GLBP & other Layer 3 technologies
o ACL, Object Groups, Exception Rules, Encryption & other Firewall related technologies
- The ability to demonstrate the command & control of Cisco Unified Communication infrastructure to include:

o Cisco MSE 8000 chassis & VCS Gateway hardware
o Cisco TMS & Conductor management platforms
o Cisco Codecs (to include Legacy Tanberg)
o Support of Polycom Codecs as a plus - Integration with MS Exchange and/or Lync a plus
