CISCO Unified Communications Consultant

The candidates should have:

Minimum 3 years' experience working for a service provider organization, in a complex multi-tenancy environment;

Minimum 7 years' experience of designing and deploying Cisco Unified Communications solutions;

Experience working on Cisco Unified Communications related projects and pre-sales activities;

Experience with migration activities from traditional PABX's systems to Cisco CUCM;

Hands-on installation experience with recent CUCM versions 9 and 10

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing

Education to Bachelor's degree level

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

For the specific requirements of this work, we can consider the consultancy service to be performed from remote place (not necessary to be located in the customer offices), accessing the CUCM services via consultant own Internet access infrastructure, through a secure VPN tunnel. The resource should be available to join scheduled meetings in the ICC and customer locations, on demand and when necessary.

The specialized services include:

Develop and Support Application Program Interfaces (API) based on Cisco Administrative XML (AXL), for Cisco Unified Communications manager (CM) integration, support and user/telephone provisioning services automation;

Provide technical advisory services concerning Cisco UC implementations and best practices;

Provide technical advisory services concerning new and on-going IP telephony related proposals;

Provide support for work migration from traditional telephony systems to Cisco UC; Cisco UC monitoring and alert systems; Cisco UC backups and disaster recovery solutions

Support and troubleshoot Cisco UC related issues

Evaluate, recommend and support Cisco UC related software like CUCM Monitoring tools, User provisioning tools, Call Accounting and Contact Centre tools.
