Cisco UCS Team Leader

Our client is a leader in cloud services and is looking to add a Cisco UCS Specialist/Team Lead to their successful team. As the SME/Team lead, you will be responsible for all things UCS in a heavily client facing role The successful candidate need to have CISCO UCS & CISCO Networking skills and could fulfil a team leadership/escalation role

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the SME for the Cisco UCS operations
- Provide a senior level of expertise in the development of Cisco UCS based X86 hosting and Middleware services.
- Design and implement Cisco UCS solutions
- Manage and lead a technical team
- Design and Implement tools that pro-actively monitor and administer the implemented UCS Wintel systems, Middleware, and associated applications
- Lead complex implementations of UCS solutions and act as the escalation point

Key Requirements

- 5+ years experience in the design and build of complex Networking & Compute solutions using Cisco Nexus and UCS products
- Excellent working knowledge of Cisco networking and computer products (incl. UCS 6248 & Nexus 1000v).
- Working knowledge of other Network and Security solutions - eg F5 & Juniper
- Strong managerial skills leading technical teams
