Cisco Network Administrator - Dutch Speaker

This financial international organisation based in Amsterdam is central counterparty and deal with both sides of a the trade circle. The infrastructure is setup in two data centre locations in the Amsterdam and London office locations. All operational activities are performed from the Amsterdam office.

They currently have clients such as ABN Ambro, BNP Paribas,Citi Bank and Deutsche Bank. With the headquarteres being in Amsterdam, you will be working from from a base that will give you plenty of challenge and complexity.

The organisation is successful and have a compact IT team, they are currently looking for a Cisco Network Administrator who is able to manage a wide range of hardware, software and applications. It is therefore of great help if the potential candidate has a flexible attitude towards all IT related tasks that needs to be done.

Cisco MUX8A Multiplex modules
Redundant Dark Fibre Data Centre Interconnect
Cisco 878 DSL Router
Cisco Call Manager Express telephony systems

Maintaining, monitoring and supporting the Cisco ASA Firewall configuration
Maintaining firewall configurations
Managing DMZ
Managing outsourced infrastructure
Cisco ASA VPN infrastructure
Communicative and open personality
Willing to take on responsibilities outside the area of specialisation
Willing to learn new things and take over tasks and responsibilities from colleagues if needed
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Experienced in the English language, verbally and in writing

It would be highly preferable if candidates for the function of Cisco Network Administrator are also experienced in:

- Red Hat Linux System and/or Application Administration
-Microsoft Windows System and/or Application Administration

General Office Automation management (PC's, Thin Clients, MS Office, laser printers, multifunctional, Citrix
