Cisco Datacenter and Security Engineer

Cisco Datacenter and Security Engineer urgently required for leading client based in South Africa. You will be responsible for providing on site support services to end client customers including out of hours activity.
3-5 years experience in implementation and support of Cisco Network solutions in medium to large scale environments (particularly Datacentres). Moreover, an important aspect is to ensure that commitments and deliverables are met with a good understanding of support and RMA procedures. Used to working with other vendors, 3rd parties and Cisco Technical support in the quick resolution of faults.

Skill Required:
Strong Knowledge in the following areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Data Centre skills.
Nexus experience
IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP)
Security, SAN storage and NMS skills
Ability to liaise with Customers and communicate well under pressure
Knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity plan
Strong communication skills
Solid understanding of technology and eye for the upsell.
