Circuit Switch (CS) Engineer

1x Circuit Switch (CS) Engineer - needed on contract basis in Netherlands (Voorburg) for one of our clients, a prestigious international Telecommunications company.

Eligibility to work in Netherlands and fluent English language skills are a prerequisite for an application. Start date will be ASAP.

Scope of work:

-

Leadership in the network change management design, mainly related to network capacity increase needs (no new services or features are expected to be deployed in the Legacy network).

Network statistics collection and analysis. Set up of KPIs and thresholds to guarantee the optimum performance of the equipments under scope

-

Design the CS network avoiding congestion and potential risks.
-

Support the laboratory tests in the CS platform.
-

Integration of new Huawei's equipment against Legacy nodes in Legacy network side.
-

Definition and support to the Legacy network data dumping process needed in the migration process of the ONO MVNO Core network to Huawei's nodes.

Manage SW/HW version, controlling the limitation of licenses, resources, etc...

Prepare service/network impact analysis when a change is proposed.
-

Technical Support Level 2:
-

Resolving any kinds of incidences both network faults or S/W problems.
-

Propose and apply workarounds when required and recover the initial situation after the final solution is implemented.

Support to daily operation activities as Network Configuration, Provisioning, Corrective and Preventive procedures.
-

Support other teams (such planning, change management, O&M...) in the platform.
-

Define and prepare the preventive maintenance over the CS platform.
-

Define and review the maintenance requirements of the CS platform
-

Train O&M, Front Office and Back Office in CS platform.
-

Participate in the swap planning and activities.
-

Approve and prepare the planned jobs over the equipment.

Requirements:

-

Proven O&M experience & expertise with Voice services
-

O&M experience & expertise with following systems: R4-MSS (Nokia), MGW (Nokia), HLR (Nokia), STP (Tekelec)
-

SS7 Protocol expertise: MAP, CAMEL, ISUP, SIP,
-

Proficient English: writing and Speaking

EU driving license
