CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH WORKER

CHELMSFORD

FULL TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS

ANNUAL SALARY £28,500 - £40,000 PRO RATA

The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team providing a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to Children in Care within Essex. The role involves travelling across Essex to support children in placement through individual therapeutic assessments and interventions, to provide consultation to their foster carers, and where necessary chair professionals meetings to consider the wider systems involved in the child's care.

There is a requirement to prepare reports for court and attend where necessary to provide evidence from assessments undertaken.

A varied caseload is held by each clinician who is expected to undertake sibling assessments, mental health and risk assessments in collaboration with other services as deemed appropriate.
