ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chief Technology Officer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join us: a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering value and innovative services together with our clients and partners in the primary insurance space.
You will build and lead the Technology Department, and will be responsible for providing leading front- and Back End technical capabilities. In addition, you will drive the build-up and evolution of our end-to-end technology landscape focusing on solutions that achieve automation, standardisation and digitisation.
To achieve above, you will work closely in cross functional teams shaping business priorities through evaluating key consumer needs and defining adequate technological solutions. You will be a member of the Executive Team and will report to the unit's CEO.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Drive the strategic direction and improvement of our digital capabilities by being responsible for the overall architecture and technology direction establish and evolve our digital insurance capability landscape, following a client-focussed architecture, natively in the cloud define and drive a roadmap towards a creative, frictionless (straight-through processing) digital analytics ecosystem provide and evolve key technology solutions along the entire Distribution, Insurance & Operations value chain support distributor on-boarding and ongoing servicing through modern, fast and cost-efficient integration and continuous delivery capabilities build a continuous dev-test-ops environment that is natively cloud based and uses automated test and build, lead and develop a team of architects, solution and software engineers nurture close relationship with internal IT service units in order to use base technology provided by the Group shared services lead external vendors who provide core technology solutions Work within our controls framework and requirements, such as legal, compliance, risk, Data protection, sourcing.
