Chief Medical Officer

Eingestellt von The Source for Women

Gesuchte Skills: Client, Support, Network

Projektbeschreibung

The Source for Women of Houston is a pioneering life-affirming non-profit holistic reproductive health care provider that exists to empower women to make healthy, informed choices in their lives. The Source supports Houston's abortion-vulnerable women with medical services, education, therapeutic and reproductive health counseling, mentorship, material assistance, as well as ongoing support for those who choose to parent or make an adoption plan.

Currently The Source for Women operates three Reproductive Health Care Clinics providing a range of Client Services (counseling, training, etc.) and Medical Services (sonograms, STD/STI testing, well woman exams, etc.), that collectively are operating below full capacity. In the near term, the overarching objective is to bring all three clinics up to full utilization. In the longer term, the vision is to expand to a minimum of seven Houston area clinics as a launching point to underpin the ultimate goal of serving the entire state of Texas and potentially beyond.

It is anticipated that the current primary clinic will be brought to full utilization first, followed by complete expanded services in the Source's other two existing locations. Following this, rapid expansion to seven centers in the greater Houston area over the next three years is envisioned with the ultimate goal of serving all of Houston and the state of Texas by the end of the decade.

The new role of Chief Medical Officer is being created in line with the Source's overall vision and strategic implementation plan, and in recognition of the vast service opportunity that exists to serve abortion-vulnerable women in the context of the changing healthcare landscape. As stated, this role will be responsible for providing the leadership and direction for all medical operations while delivering full clinic utilization and driving strategy execution and the organization's planned expansion goals. The CMO will ensure the provision of excellent service-oriented, personal client care, and excellence in staff and advocate relations.
