Chief Engineer (DSV)

Our client is a vessel management company that is focussed on ship management in the offshore Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind industries. This client is looking for a Chief Engineer with Dutch qualifications to complete a contract on a Dive Support Vessel (DSV).

As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for the day to day management of the vessels engine room and deck equipment.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Management of Engine room and electrical personnel
- Keeping planned maintenance up to date
- Suggesting vessel improvements to the Technical team on board
- Keeping spare parts stores well stocked
- Keeping vessel paperwork up to date

Requirements:

- Dutch Chief Engineer Unlimited COC
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as Chief Engineer on board a DP2 or DP3 Construction/Dive Support/ROV or Pipelay Vessel
- Proven experience of working on 3000Te vessels
- Able to commence employment from January 2016 onwards
- Valid Medical and Survival
