Chemistry Teacher

A high calibre Chemistry Teacher is urgently sought for a large but friendly secondary school based in Northampton. Sadly the school has unexpectedly been informed of a long term absence within the department and requires an enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry that can join them and quickly build bonds with students and staff.

The chosen teacher will need to deliver Chemistry lessons up to Key Stage 5 and will also be required to cover Physics and General Cover lessons. A scheme of work will be provided but the teacher will have to develop a large proportion of the their lessons plans around that. It's important to the school that they can find a teacher who will be committed to remaining with them for the duration of the absence and help maintain the high standards of the school for that time. In return you will be working with some great students and facilities and be part of a welcoming team.

As the successful Chemistry Teacher you will need to be;
- Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 5.
- Passion for teaching Chemistry and Science.
- Have a creative approach to teaching.
