Position: Chemist
Job type: Contract (2 Months Initially)
Skills: Chemical Analysis, Materials, Process, Wet Chemistry
Location: South Wales easily commutable from Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bristol and with excellent access from Gloucester and Cheltenham
Rate: £15.00 per hour LTD Negotiable

OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a Chemist for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
The successful Chemist candidate will be responsible for the following:
Chemical and physical analyses on materials required for ammunition manufacture and development
Calibration of equipment
General housekeeping standards
Communicating results to customers using IT media

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Self motivated individual with experience in chemical and physical testing
Team player able to work alongside other chemists
Preferably with HNC of higher in chemistry or equivalent
Working knowledge of both traditional 'wet chemistry' and instrumental techniques
