CHEMIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WEST SACRAMENTO, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will be responsible for executing analytical assays and data management.
- Perform all aspects of high throughput HPLC assays following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Perform routine assays to characterize the chemical nature (HPLC-MS) of Agricultural products.
- Manage internal customer expectations with daily interactions (verbal and written) with colleagues from groups external to chemistry.
- Analyze data and input results in a LIMS system.
- Troubleshooting HPLC systems and robotics equipment. - Manage the review and documentation process for the assigned assays.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Be compliant with company policies in all areas of activity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree Chemistry or other related field
- 3+ years of analytical chemistry experience
- Hands on experience with HPLC instrumentation and routine HPLC chemical assays

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with HPLC/MS instruments
