CHEMIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with our client located in Rodeo, CA

THE BIG PICTURE:

This is a great opportunity for a Chemist newly starting a career.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performing chemical analyses and quality control testing using accepted published procedures
- Performing calibrations and standardizations to maintain quality in test results
- Reviewing and updating procedures
- Assisting in or performing maintenance on instrumentation
- Interacting with Area Supervisors, Unit Engineers or Unit Operators to help troubleshoot process problems
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field required
- Recent laboratory assistant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in a laboratory environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
