Plant Chemist needed for 2 year contract at a power plant in Louisiana. You must have 5+ years of experience with water chemistry and related processes. Your primary responsibility is to provide on-site supervision and labor necessary to analyze and treat water chemistry. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze circulating water chlorine analysis, and monitoring of dechlorination process.
- Adhere to User safety procedures and guidelines.
- Routine testing on Boiler, Circulating Water, Closed Cooling Water.
- Sample panel and analyzer maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years working with water chemistry and related processes.
- Experience installing, operating, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing both the sampling and electronic components of modern analyzers.
- Experience using bench-type chemistry analyzers to perform confirmation of on-line analyzer results.
- Experience operating and regenerating polishers and demineralizers.
