Chemical Engineer Job

CHEMICAL ENGINEER/LAB TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HAYWARD, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
- Perform tasks according to accepted methods prescribed by the work group (technical, scientific and lab assignments, assists in small volume chemical sample preparations).
- Performs technical, scientific and lab assignments, assists in small volume chemical sample preparations.
- Conducts bench-top laboratory experiments.
- Assists in processes or applications that improve existing products
- Assists in small volume customer sample preparation
- Responsible for maintaining safe work environment (eg, Engineering SEM lab, R&D lab and Clean Room).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, related field with three (3) years of laboratory experience
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiar with GLP and GMP
