Chassis / Steering Systems PMST Leader - 23560 - NEG Ltd Co

Position Description:
Chassis/Steering Systems PMST Leader: to take responsibility for component engineering. This includes running the supplier process, packaging, resolution of component issues, negotiating appropriate specifications and targets and ensuring that releases are made in a timely manner to support project objectives.

Skills Required:
Engineering component engineering delivery with particular with chassis/steering systems. Able to quickly develop competence in OEM engineering disciplines and understand and use key OEM delivery systems (eFDVS, WERS, AIMS, PCS/GPDS, FMEA etc.).Must have good verbal and written communication skills to report technical issues across all levels. Must have the ability to manage complex issues e.g. problem resolution, evaluating and balancing conflicting requirements. Must demonstrate proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines. Able to plan design and release activity. Able to manage suppliers to ensure that they support the EPAS team to deliver commitments and targets on time e.g. costs, drawings, prototype parts. Microsoft Office proficiency.

Skills Preferred:
Experience with EPAS. Understanding of electrical and electronic interfaces to mechanical systems. Catia and Tce.

Experience Required:
Experience of engineering delivery which is transferable to the application of EPAS to OEM vehicles.

Experience Preferred:
Working knowledge of OEM engineering delivery systems (eFDVS, WERS, AIMS, PCS/GPDS, FMEA etc.)

Education Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
