TITLE: CHARLES RIVER BUSINESS ANALYST

DURATION: 4 MONTHS PROJECT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

LOCATION: PITTSBURGH, PA

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have 3 - 5 years of experience working with the Charles River trade order management system
- Must have experience with Charles River version 8.
- Additionally, experience with Charles River version 9 is strongly preferred
- Must have knowledge of the financial industry, specifically with mutual funds, Equity securities, and trading workflows
- Familiarity with Omgeo Connect and Post Trading processes is optional, but preferred.
- Must have experience working with relational databases and using SQL.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

SPECIFIC CHARLES RIVER QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience setting up, customizing, and using CR Workbench, Blotters, Placements, and Fill interfaces and functionality
- Experience using the Charles River Sys Admin Tool and setting up, configuring, and validating user setups/privileges, stored queries, workflow monitors, and system parameters
- Must have experience setting up, configuring, and viewing Accounts, Positions, Securities, Brokers (including FIX messaging), and Reference Data
- Must have experience troubleshooting issues in Charles River and leveraging available resources for resolution (reviewing log files, querying Back End databases, internal/external support contacts)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide day-to-day IT operational support for the Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS):
- Research and resolve Hotline/Help Desk requests/support for Charles River and integrated systems
- Complete new work assignments for enhancements, updates/configuration changes, and information/data requests related to Charles River and supporting systems
- Participate in an active IT project to upgrade Charles River v8 to Charles River v9
- Business analysis, requirements documentation, Front End setup, testing, and team mentoring/demonstrations, etc. as necessary to satisfy project deliverables and assist other co-workers in strengthening skills/understanding of the Charles River v9 platform
