//THE CHANNEL SALES EXECUTIVE ROLE:

The Channel Account Executive collaborates with partner acquisition efforts to on-board, grow, and develop partner relationships. When we say channel partner, we mean application developers, IT consultants, digital marketing agencies, system integrators and web developers. This experienced sales executive partners with the greater sales organization to identify, qualify, and develop partner leads, and will additionally provide insight on channel partner coverage and capabilities. We're looking for someone eager to be part of something bigger than themselves.

For this role, you must have superior presentation skills, the ability to proactively generate leads, and work under a quota and be able to effectively maintain/expand business relationships. You will also work with our peers in Marketing to manage the process of implementing and launching marketing and promotional programs within your assigned area of responsibility. This opening is for a 12-month contract in our Southampton office.

//Channel Sales Executive Responsibilities:

Responsible for driving incrementally new business opportunities through these indirect sales channels, either via partners referring or reselling Hosting services.
Channel Account Executive will manage all aspects of scoping, creating, developing, revenue achievement and day-to-day management of new and existing partnerships.
Manage the process of implementing and launching marketing and promotional programs within assigned area of responsibility.
Develop joint business plans with partner to satisfy mutually agreed upon goals and objectives.
Serves as liaison to channel partners with regards to any partner or sales related issues.
Work directly with direct sales teams to help coordinate sales efforts. Responsible for relationships with complex partners.
Remain knowledgeable of products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
Maintains regular contact with partners to ensure satisfaction.
Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.
Proactive, operates under minimal supervision.
Educates partners to new or improved products/services.

//EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of five years sales experience, at least three of which should be in Channel Sales or Business Development. Knowledge of or successful experience in multi-channel go-to-market models is a must, and knowledge of the managed hosting industry is a huge plus. Our ideal candidate also has deep knowledge and understanding of indirect channel dynamics and is a competitive, self-starter.

While it's not required, we'd love to have someone who has previously built strong relationships with companies that offer services complimentary to ours, such as application developers, IT consultants, digital marketing agencies, system integrators and web developers.
