Change & Release Analyst - Service Analyst - Service Management - Gateshead.

My client is looking for an experienced Change & Release Analyst/Service Management Analyst to join their busy team who are working on a large IT programme. The main purpose of this role is to support t o support the IT Service Management function, carrying out analyst roles in change and release management, service catalogue, service design, service transition, capacity management testing management, and incident and problem management as require.

Responsibilities include:

- Supports the Change and release manager to ensure that changes are properly assessed, approved and released successfully into the live IT environment
- Supports the service design and transition team or projects team to work with the business and define the required SLAs for new or amended services
- Produces the required management information for key stakeholders across the business on services provided
- Appreciates the broad IT and commercial perspective and an understanding of the overall picture of how the IT service fits and contributes to the Business
- Performs defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information
- Analyses service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions
- Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels
- Monitors service delivery performance metrics and liaises with managers and customers to ensure that service level agreements are not breached without the stakeholders being given the opportunity of planning for a deterioration in service
- Supports the identification and management of risks
- Undertakes any documenting of key processes as necessary for area

Experience Required:

- Excellent experience of Service management/Incident Management including ITIL Standards
- Experience of Service Management Systems & Tools (preferably Service Now)
- Network experience
