My client, an insurance company based in Bekshire is recruiting for a Manager for their Customer Services Team. You will be required to run the day-to-day control of the running of the Reassurance Area ie line responsibility for the maintenance of all section control systems, staff matters (including training and development, workflow, discipline, cover and ensuring that major deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:
-Liaison with clients to ensure high levels of service are maintained and to actively promote strong relationships, including participation in client visit programme.
-Day-to-day responsibility for, ensuring all reassurance client reconciliations are fully investigated and carried out on a timely basis, and that all relevant deadlines are met.
-Line responsibility for ensuring that all documents and data files received from and prepared for clients in connection with existing arrangements are handled as efficiently as possible, and in accordance with the terms of the agreements, with particular attention to simplifying procedures.
-Involvement in business analysis to ensure that the use of system support is maximised, and that section processes and controls are regularly reviewed to remain effective.
-Involvement in client process and control reviews with a view to establishing the appropriateness of the client procedures and the veracity of the information captured by the client data extracts, as required.
-Involvement with new arrangement set up, to assist with the establishment of on going control procedures, and to effect a smooth handover to normal department operations.
-Line responsibility for overseeing and co-ordinating initial control month/year-end procedures to include:

Ensuring the accuracy of the data held in the core operational systems.

Maintenance of Technical Revenue reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the data being held in the underlying operational systems.

Maintenance of various departmental control systems, ensuring that service standards and escalation procedures are adhered to.

Providing detailed business information analysis with a view to improving the quality and quantity of information available, as required.

-Assisting with the management of the various retrocession and Co-re arrangements as required
-Participation in various department specific and Company management projects as required.
-Deputise for Head of Department as required and provide cover for Manager and Reassurance section Assistant Managers where necessary.
