Job Mission

One of our client's business drivers is to prepare to become a >€10B company through people development and maturity of the organization. One of the big changes to realize this is the establishment and embedding of the SMS program.

With the Service Management System (SMS) project, our client has replaced the outdated MyQ system. The objective of this replacement is to place all relevant service information in the hands of the field service engineer to ultimately perform tasks inside the cleanroom of the customer in the most effective and efficient way by 2018. Initially in 2014, the applications Call Handling and Time writing have been implemented in the first release. The last 2 years, the project has worked on developing the applications Action Plan and Material Handling and will be implemented soon in 3 local offices as part of release 3.

Next to these activities, within the same program, the Customer Service business processes will be improved for Logistics, Finance, Contract Management and Call Handling.

Job Description

The change manager is overall responsible for the acceptance of the changes as a result of the above mentioned implementation of the MM application(s). The implementation of MM will require a change in behaviour and way of working; this change needs to be carefully managed by the change manager.

A change of an organization is not possible without a change of behaviour of the local team (both management and team members).

The SMS Change Manager:

Aligns and agrees activities with the deployment project manager and the CS business change manager (change management on program level);

Designs, coordinates and executes the SMS Change

Coordinates and executes communication activities and reviews and delivers the required communication materials (also at the location (US/Asia) if required);

Pro-actively leverages and maintains a change agent network;

Enables, supports, and challenges the central project team in their roles by eg coaching, attendance of meetings and providing tools;

Defines and executes appropriate interventions to mitigate Change Management risks;

Acts as 'sparring partner' for the deployment project manager;

Is fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operational departments;

Has a hands-on and proactive mentality.

This is a position for 32 hours per week.

Experience

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager who:

Has at least 5-8 years of work experience;

Has at least 5 years experienced in specific Change Management roles;

Has knowledge of the most common Change Management theories;

Has experience in working on projects in a technical industrial environment;

Able to work in an international and multi-cultural settings;

Has proven coaching experience;

Experience with setting up a change adoption survey.
