Change Manager

POSITION TITLE: CHANGE MANAGER

LOCATION: SACRAMENTO, CA 94203

WORK TYPE: W-2, CORP TO CORP, 1099

CONTRACT DURATION: 6MONTHS + (STRONG POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION)

PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS

- Work with Client RMO staff to refine, document, and implement changes to the my Client Change Management process for the my Client application.
- Work collaboratively with the RMO's Change Management, Release Management and Configuration Management teams, and have working knowledge of the processes and procedures of each team.
- Assist Client RMO staff in the daily operational support of Change Management best practices.
- As a Change Manager SME, train and assist Client staff in the execution and support of Change Management best practices.
- Train and/or socialize Change Management concepts and processes to all levels of the Client organization.
- Ability to work well with Client staff; must possess strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Provide the Release Management Office manager with status upon request and inform of any issues that require escalation. Support and participate in all other Change Management activities as needed and directed.
- Attend and/or facilitate meetings as needed.
- Provide weekly status and inform management of any issues that require escalation.
- Understand the my|Client solution and Client technical environments as needed.

The payment structure for activities performed per this Statement of Work is:

Time and MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in the development and implementation of Change Management processes and procedures
- Knowledge of ITIL v.3 Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release and Deployment Management best practices
- Previous experience in training staff at all organizational levels on the concepts, execution, and socialization of Change Management
- Advance level expertise with Excel

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Client lines of business
- Previous experience managing changes to the my|Client system is highly desired
- Excellent communication skills
