Change Management Activities:
You will be responsible for Filtering changes throughout the business. You will manage all changes and the change process through to individual teams. Chairing the CAB and the CAB/Emergency committee and reviewing and closing of Requests for Change (RFCs). Management reporting and providing management information is also required.
Responsibilities:
Act as an overall project lead coordinating change and release management activity across all relevant team members, working closely with them to solve project/process related challenges
Provide regular status updates to all involved parties to ensure full transparency and best possible alignment of resources
Identify critical risks within the project in time and proactively suggest solution to resolve the issue
Clearly document the project on an ongoing basis to ensure a clear understanding regarding roles and responsibilities within the team as well as the client and external partners
Prepare status and tracking documentation (eg, progress reports, team updates, status requests, and resolved issues lists)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat
Technical Skills:
Broad technical knowledge of the data center and the infrastructure pillars: SAN, Network and Server
Deep understanding of desktop virtualization (protocols, products) (VmWare View Composer, Flex/Linked Clone)
Unix, Linux and Microsoft experienced (RHCE, MSCE)
Requirements:
Requires 3+ years related experience as a project manager within the Services/IT/SP industry
