WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Project Description: This project is a component of the NERC CIP Tools Program, focused on Configuration Monitoring (CfM), Logging and Monitoring (LM), and Vulnerability Management (VM) activities involving detailed requirements development, Service Level Agreement (SLA) development, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for an approach leveraging identified tools.
- This project will focus primarily on activities such as developing a current state assessment, designing a technical architecture, and coordinating POC activities to test aspects of the design.
- Organizational change management activities will also be performed to begin planning for business impacts resulting from the project.
- Assess and classify impacts of the change on stakeholders and stakeholder groups.
- Develop and update the Change Plan while considering the Stakeholder Analysis and Change Impact Assessment to enable a successful transition to the target state.
- Develop the change acceptance strategy to ensure the intended change implements successfully.
- Help facilitate interactions with key stakeholder groups, including development of stakeholder management strategy for Service Level Agreement (SLA) meetings with various Business Areas.
- Manage project communications with stakeholders.
- Support documentation and distribution of lessons learned.
- Define the Change Measurement Approach and criteria, and develop/configure the Change Measurement Instrument, Change Measurement Results Report, and Change Measurement Action Plan.
- Measure change progress of stakeholders, track and monitor the progress of the change as well as stakeholders' positions on the commitment curve, and identify and execute correction actions.
- Analyze the needs of the transitioning organization to achieve the project's exit criteria and transition organizational responsibilities for sustaining the change, including training needs analysis.
- Review the to-be Business Process Design to understand organization/role impacts, and create Role Descriptions for business process roles.
- Define the to-be skills/knowledge requirements for the affected workforce and the characteristics of the current workforce.
- Design and conduct a Skills Assessment to measure the baseline skills of the affected workforce, and create a plan to close the gap between current and required skills. Identify additional staffing needs and sourcing strategy.
- Determine the Training and Performance Support Strategy and Training and Performance Support Plan.
- Design, develop, deploy, and evaluate the training and performance support materials.
