Change Consultant

Task Mission
The Change Consultant demonstrates best-in-class Change Management skills to ensure a smooth implementation.

Position in the projects

The Change Consultant reports to the "Project Manager" and the "Change Management & Communication Competence Lead".

As parallel projects run within the factory, cross-alignment is crucial from two perspectives:
* Align approach across all the projects in the factories
* Apply Change Management & Communication methods & toolkit and re-use as much as possible

The Change Consultant interfaces with stakeholders in the factories, with related supporting departments and within in the projects. The Change Consultant guides, coaches and facilitates the target groups, the stakeholders, the project teams and leadership through the implementation and embedding of new systems with related processes and WoW's

Based on earlier experience the Change Management & Communications Competence has approaches, ways of working, tools and materials available in the Change Management & Communication Methods & Toolkit.

Job Description

The Change Consultant
* Change manages multiple projects.
* Does not only define and steer, but is especially focused on the operational aspects of the implementation
* Has a hands-on mentality
* Aligns and agrees activities with the Competence and the Project Manager
* Develops, fine-tunes, details out, improves and executes the change plan
* Develops, provides input for and reviews communication materials
* Proactively discusses and proposes interventions to mitigate Change Management risks
* Challenges and facilitates the stakeholders in driving the required change: Works towards continuous commitment of the key stakeholders to make the project a success
* Acts as 'sparring partner' for the Project Manager and the team members on project related matters
* Is fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operators, planners and logistics engineers.
* Manages and coaches the Project Team on Change-related items.

Experience:

We are looking for a medior level Change expert who:
* Has at least experienced all phases in a Change process once
* Is experienced in planning and managing the Change curve
* Has at least 6 years working experience of which at least 4 years in Change Management
* Has knowledge of the most common Change Management theories (eg Kotter, de Caluwe, Johnson, Graves and Hofstede)
* Has experience in working on projects in a technical discrete industry environment
* Has experience in IT system implementation and roll-out
* Has proven coaching experience
* Has knowledge/experience of (preferably the PRINCE 2) Project Methodology

Personal Skills
* Able to convince, inspire and motivate people
* Able to effectively cooperate with people on the shop floor up to and including higher management
* Good knowledge of both Dutch and English language
* Strong communication skills (listening, asking the right questions and expression)
* Creative, pragmatic and curious
* Drives to realizing the project's business goals, whatever it takes.

Educational/Experience Level
* The Change Consultant has experience in the role of Change Consultant/Manager in implementation projects, in a (preferably technical) manufacturing environment, and has a HBO/WO education level.
