My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, are looking to recruit a CFD Analyst, to join their Powertrain division on a long-term contract basis.

CFD, Fluid Dynamics, Star CCM, Star CD, Radterm, GT-Power, GT-Suite, Thermal, Electrothermal, Motor, Design, Analysis, Coventry, Whitley, West Midlands

Position Description:
CFD Analyst to perform virtual assessments of electric motor thermal performance during the concept and delivery phases. Data to be used to drive design improvements to meet functional targets. Analysis to be reported for major system freezes.

Skills Required:
Powertrain analyst with experience applying CFD to electric machines.

Skills Preferred:
CAD

Experience Required:
Knowledge of electric machines, ideally within the automotive industry.

Education Required:
Engineering Degree. Applicants with maths/physics degrees will also be considered.
