Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Job

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR LPN needed for a CONTRACT JOB opportunity with Yoh's client located in Buffalo, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - Certified Medical Assistant or LPN

- The individual must demonstrate effective 'multitasking' skills, as position requires ability to perform various administrative, secretarial and clinical duties

What You'll Be Doing:

- Front desk reception, greeting employees, maintaining clinic flow, calendars, worksheets, and scheduling activities
- Obtain employee information related to clinic visit, including chief complaint, vital signs, height, and weight and allergy history, perform EKG's, phlebotomy, perform basic first aid procedures
- Best qualified candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, utilizing well-seasoned tactics to bring all duties together within the Front End and Back End of operations together.
- Furthermore, that candidate will understand the aspects of managing the return to work timeline, work related injuries, crisis management and Sprirometry and Hearing tests that will be done.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2 - 3) years of experience dealing with the treatment and triage of injuries and illnesses in an occupational health setting.
- Also, the best qualified individual will be very polished, as a consummate professional would appear.
- Overall communication expert and be able to work in a cross functional team to recognize any threats to the employee populations well being.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified in Spirometry and Hearing
- Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR Certified
