Certified Medical Assistant Job

Full time MEDICAL ASSISTANT needed for contract position at a large Aerospace Company in Denver, CO. Must have clear background without any misdemeanors.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The Medical Assistant prepares patients to see physician, facilitates lab tests and other physician orders as needed. He/she assists the Clinical Director with clinical duties and procedures as directed.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting room to exam rooms; prepares patients for exam or treatment.
- Assist MDs with minor procedures.
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to patient appointment
- Obtains and documents patient vital signs in EMR, including temperature, blood pressure, height/weight, respiration and pulse.
- Excel reports, EMR and heavy computer

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must be a Certified Medical assistant to be considered.
- Must have good clinical skills and at least two (2) years of hands on experience.
- Must have prior EMR experience and very good computer skills
