Certification Development Support Programmer (6 Month Contract)

Our client is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through IT standards. With more than 400 member organizations, they have a diverse membership that spans all sectors of the IT community - systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators and consultants, as well as academics and researchers. They are now seeking a Certification Development Support Programmer to join their team on a six month contract.

The Certification Development Support Programmer will operate as part of the Certification Program Development Team. Within your role, you will be tasked with a combination of activities which support certification services for both people and products.

Specifically, you will be involved with web-based application management, Drupal 7 administration, Drupal 7 development and technical documentation.

Maintaining existing programs and implementing new software, you will take part in all aspects of developing and maintaining our client's certification programs and systems. This will also involve supporting testing activities, configuring the certification software systems and documenting the technical aspects of new and existing software systems.

The other aspects of your role will include:

- Delivering updates to existing operational certification programs
- Contributing to the development of new certification programs
- Supporting the Certification Operations Team

To be considered, you must have:

- Experience of managing web sites using Drupal, including Drupal 7 administration and content creation
- Quality Assurance experience with software and/or web-based applications
- Experience editing HTML documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word or OpenOffice
- A BS in Computer Science, Business or a related field
