Cell Biologist/Immunologist Job

CELL BIOLOGIST/IMMUNOLOGIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Establishing, executing and validating novel in vitro and ex vivo cell- and tissue-based models.
- Designing, executing, and interpreting proof of concept/proof of mechanism studies; studies aimed at identifying new targets for inflammatory skin diseases; experiments that solve complex problems identified within the department or brought from cross-functional project teams, global teams and others. It is expected that the successful candidate will spend >80% of the time conducting experiments.
- Establishing and validating novel in vitro and ex vivo dermatology models and models of skin inflammation.
- The position will require the developmentprepare formal technical reports, monthly reports, and study summaries, according to client's data integrity guidelines
- Keep up to date with current literature with special emphasis/focus on immunology and skin diseases.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS with five to ten (5-10) years of experience or MS with one to five (1-5) years experience in Biology, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology, Medical Sciences, Pharmacology or related field with a strong emphasis on cell and molecular biology (tissue culture, microscopy, qPCR) developing and executing cell biology, immunological and/or biochemistry assays.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity in pharmaceutical R&D desirable but not essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates with additional skills in Immunology (single and multiplex ELISA, flow cytometry), and/or Skin Biology (liquid-air interface cultures, microscopy).
