Interim CDO, 6 month Contract (possible extension, contract to perm conversion), London based for at least 2 days a week, however flexibility to work remotely for additional days, per day rate very competitive, please get in contact for more info.

The role: classic CDO interim, however open re shaping. Our client is an exciting, innovative and zero red tape organisation who are seeking a hands on, confident and capable professional to come in, to build their digital optimisation strategy and team, take a digital lead within the company.

. Leading the development of the digital business strategy and roadmap and large marketing budget
. Serve as a member and advisor to the executive leadership team
. Expand the reach of the users across current and emerging digital platforms
. Facilitate and lead change across departments and the organisation
. Define and report on metrics that demonstrate progress against overall company objectives
. Partner with senior management to identify, develop and exploit new digital business solutions to create a competitive advantage for the company.
. Provide leadership and mentoring

Tasked with looking at new technologies and keep the business at the forefront in advances in the area of digital technology.

The person

. Degree educated with a BA/BSc in Digital Marketing or Marketing or relative subjects
. Highly experienced in leading technology initiatives.
. Strong track record for developing and executing strategic digital technologies and change.
. Extensive knowledge of SEM/SEO, Affiliate, email, content marketing, social and mobile
. Strong analytical skills.
. Solid demonstrated experience in the development of partnerships.
. Expertise in development of teams and mentoring others
. Strong background in Senior stakeholder management including "C" level experience
. Excellent project management skills and the ability to work under pressure
