CDD PROCEDURES DELIVERY MANAGER - LONDON - INVESTMENT BANKING

£500-£700PD - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

My client an investment bank with international reach is currently looking for a CDD Procedures Delivery Manager, the Programme is the businesses programme focused on developing the highest or most effective standards for Financial Crime & Compliance and deploying them on a consistent basis.

PURPOSE:

The role will oversee and coordinate production of these deliverables, managed by the CDD Procedures Delivery Lead, working with SMEs in the business. The deliverables will be localised as needed to reflect regional and country regulatory and legal requirements. The role works closely with the Delivery Lead and stakeholders across the globe, to ensure procedures are produced by the business. The role holder will provide guidance to the business and other stakeholders to ensure that the requirements of the workstream are clearly understood. This is an exciting, fast paced role, supporting the Bank's Financial Crime change programme and thus providing the role holder with highly desirable skills and knowledge.

IMPACT:

- Interfaces with the other workstream SMEs to ensure procedures reflect the scope of the CDD deployment approach.
- Identifies impacts of new CDD procedures on people, process and technology and where appropriate defines requirements and implementation plans to address any issues.
- Support writing, issuance and implementation of CDD Line of Business procedures.
- Write new and update existing CDD procedures

CHALLENGES:

- Working as a virtual team with stakeholders remotely, across diverse time zones
- Interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accountability and control of projects at a Global level without having the control over the resources responsible for the deployment/implementation
- Driving out and documenting requirements against a background of major change (both internal and external to programmes) and tight timeframes around SME availability.

QUALIFICATIONS/BACKGROUND:

- Interfaces with the other CDD workstream SMEs to ensure procedures reflect the scope of the CDD deployment approach.
- Drive country procedure reviews (gap analysis), providing SME knowledge to support and guide the outcome
- Support the creation of a robust BAU infrastructure is in place to manage the AML procedures and CDD templates post deployment
- Work within the BAU change framework, working closely to develop procedure/policy changes
- Ensures that the business team are appropriately focused on the key implementation issues, mitigation thereof and the related controls are robust
- Identifies impacts of new CDD procedures on people, process and technology and where appropriate defines requirements and global implementation plans to address any issues.
- Respond to CDD policy/procedure queries received from multiple sources
- Support writing, issuance and implementation of CDD procedures.
- Write new and update existing CDD procedures
