CCNP Level Network Engineer

CCNP LEVEL NETWORK ENGINEER required by my client in an online gaming company. You will be involved with projects (60/70%) and trouble-shooting (30/40%); providing support and to take responsibility for the design and delivery of the network infrastructure. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and you will be fluent in English- written and verbal and have the following technical skills/experience in a large scale commercial environment. Demonstrable experience of working in a HIGH AVAILABILITY ENVIRONMENT is essential.

CISCO ROUTERS engineering, administration and troubleshooting: EIGRP/BGP/POLICY BASED ROUTING (PBR)/IPSLA AND NAT/PAT/QOS

CISCO SWITCH engineering administration, troubleshooting: RAPID SPANNING TREE, VLAN SPANNING TREE, PORT-SECURITY, ETHER CHANNEL, TRUNKS, VLANS, QOS

CISCO ASA/PIX administration/troubleshooting; VPNS/ACLS/NAT/PAT/ETHER CHANNEL AND SUB-INTERFACES

CISCO VOICE- CISCO CUCM and IPCC

CISCO WAAS or other application accelerator administration experience.

CISCO FIREWALL and IPS/IDS modules administration experience.

DDOS protection system management.

Network Load Balancing.

RADIUS, syslog and monitoring systems administration experience.

Active Directory, DHCP & DNS administration experience.

Cisco and other vendors OS updates, firmware updates, configuration backup and recovery.

IPv4 packet tracing and communication analysis and troubleshooting.

IPv6 knowledge.

Knowledge of communication at and between all levels of the OSI standard.

Internet network infrastructure understanding.

General Internet security and cyber threat protection understanding.

CCNA VOICE or similar experience.

CCNP SECURITY or similar experience. Firewall administration/setup.

VPN design, configuration and management: L2L and Remote Access.

Maintain and design infrastructure including, but not limited to: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, cluster services, IIS, Windows and Linux.

Linux certification Red Hat RHCE or equivalent experience will be an advantage.

High Availability networking setup understanding.

Virtualisation infrastructure understanding.

MS Net services and technologies (networking stack) deep understanding.

MSIT specialist certification/Linux certification would be an advantage.

Security standards knowledge regarding networks, disaster recovery and contingency

Planning for ISO27001 or PCI-DSS

Provide support and consultancy to customers and internal teams when required in network and systems related works during working hours based on rota.

Assess, plan and work on maintenance windows and planned down time.

Provide support off hours based on on-call rota.

Work with third parties and support and design, plan and setup infrastructures and software built internally or by third parties.

Design, Maintain and manage network infrastructure.

Design and implement Backup and Restore policies for network devices and infrastructure in general.

Design and implement Disaster Recovery strategies for network devices and infrastructure in general.

Perform out-of-hours so support and hardware maintenance

Deploy software by using remote deployment tools.

Assist in the design and implementation of infrastructure expansion and evaluation.

Plan rota and work in rota.

Plan and perform on-call support.

Plan and perform hardware installation and maintenance.

Design, Configure and support Virtualization infrastructure related to network.

Deploy, update, upgrade and test bespoke and 3rd party software in test and production environments.

Design, maintain and optimise enterprise services infrastructure (Mail, Intranet, and Incidence system)

Implement the policies for the use of computer system.

Working hours: 40/week

Week Days: Monday to Sunday (Normal Monday-Friday)

Hours per day: 8 h

Working days per week: 5 days*

Office Working Hours: 08:00h - 21:00h (Normally 10-18.00h)

Off hours bracket: 21:00h - 08:00h*
