We're seeking a NETWORK CONSULTING ENGINEER with a focus on network and information security solutions and business outcomes.

In this role, you will be part of the Pacific Northwest Delivery team supporting the planning, design, and implementation of internetworking solutions for customers. Your security focus on Delivery Excellence with a solution-oriented and services-led approach is targeted on positive business outcomes. Over time, as your interests grow and the business demands change, your focus will evolve and grow to support additional technologies, solutions, and services.

You must be able to lead efforts to produce business justifications, capture solution requirements, produce customer-specific solutions, plan and implement solutions for customers, and provide change management recommendations.

You must be able to lead transactional projects throughout the full life cycle of service delivery including the planning, design, implementation, and optimization phases. You must be able to support other technologies as required to successfully complete customer projects. Projects may include routing and switching infrastructures, collaboration (voice, video, Cisco Telepresence, instant messaging, desktop sharing, etc.) solutions, and data center & cloud solutions.

Your first year will be focused on: 802.1x, Cisco ISE (wired, wireless, and VPN), Cisco ACS, Identity related architectures and solutions, complex VPN solutions (GETVPN, DMVPN, Zero-touch deployments such as CVO-related and Cisco Prime-related), consultative-led approaches for addressing customers' security concerns, capturing and sharing intellectual capital, driving technical excellence, driving efficiencies in delivery, and participating fully as a member of a cross-practice, cross-architecture teams.

Consultative ability and technical skills to establish trusted advisor status from an engineer to an executive level is required. Your subsequent years will have the same demands with a shift in the technologies and services as your interest and business demands.

Advanced consulting services to assist customers with creating effective IT governance, risk management and compliance programs may be required.

In this role, you will be required to travel up to 50% domestically (including Alaska and Hawaii). International travel opportunities may present themselves but are not required of this role. Remote-worker and Tele-worker options are available when not working onsite with customers.

This position requires residence in the greater Seattle area.

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in information security industry
- Minimum 3 years' experience consulting or professional services
- Minimum of 1 year specialization with identity solutions and products (ACS, Cisco ISE, 802.1x, etc.)
- Experience with IT governance, risk management, and compliance programs desired.

CERTIFICATION:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) desired
