Job Title: CBT Therapist
Job Type:Part-time: 22.5 hours per week (3 x 7.5 hour days) rostered to meet the needs of the business
Location: Capio Nightingale Hospital, Marylebone, London
Start Date:ASAP

Main Purpose of Role
To provide therapeutic input on an individual and a group basis, across all teams in the Therapy Department at Capio Nightingale Hospital.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
To undertake comprehensive assessments and to develop and deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions as appropriate.
Preparation and delivery of therapy, as the facilitator for groups and for individuals.
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in reviewing and adapting the therapy programme to meet patients' needs at any time.
To work together with the CBT team to ensure the therapy programme runs effectively.
Demonstrate flexibility with regard to various demands in order to meet patients' needs.
Play an active role as a part of the multidisciplinary team, providing feedback on therapy and assessments to nursing staff and other allied health team members on a daily basis, as is required.

Essential Skills
Post Graduate Diploma in CBT, BABCP registered / accredited.
A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience.
Experienced in working in the field of acute mental health.
Experienced in working therapeutically with clients with mental health problems, experience in
facilitating groups as well as providing individual work
Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Ability to prioritise, take initiative, work independently and use a cooperative approach to care
Ability to exercise tact and good judgement and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Must be reliable and consistent.

Desirable Skills
Accreditation with a recognised body.
Ability to deliver talks and presentations to a professional audience.
