CB Internal Applications Developer £47k - £55k

Location:Cambridge Job Role: Internal Applications Developer Salary: £47,000 - £55,000 Depending on Experience Internal Applications Developer needed to join a pioneering award winning design and development company. The company have been established in theCambridge area since 1999 and have a long list of awards to their name. This year they have over $1 billion annual sales revenue. You will be responsible for the maintenance, support and development of the internal web based business and engineering applications. Under the leadership of the internal applications Manager you will continue to meet the needs of the business as it grows. Key skills required: - PHP5 Object orientated programming - AJAX - Apache - SQL (Microsoft, MySQL or Oracle) - HTTP - HTML - JavaScript and Javascript libraries - Creating and executing test plans - Source code management systems - Experience of creating high quality, high availability web applications - Database design - Proven record of software development - Good understanding of web based application architectures Desirables include:- - C# - Java - Perforce/Source code management systems - Perl - Degree (or equivalent qualification) maths/science/software/electronics - OO design - JavaScript libraries - Good understanding and experience of data modeling and database design principles - Agile Methodology - Testing certification - REST and SOAP interfacing If you have 2 or 3 of the key skills listed I would be very interested in speaking with you still as it is understandable you may not tick every requirement.
