This role is not based around simply running tendering exercises, but involves working with existing providers to see where things can be done better and savings can be made. You will also have to quickly establish credibility with Service Directors and the commissioning teams to work effectively.

A background in commissioning or procurement would be preferable as would be knowledge of Adult Services delivery.
