CATEGORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Are you a highly qualified Category management specialist with experience within a mutinational and muticultural environment and looking for an exciting new opportunity within an international financing organisation? If so, please have a look at the following details:
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Category management specialist to join one of their clients, an international financing organisation, based in Geneva.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, formulating and implementing innovative and compehensive category strategies and delivering cost effective and efficient processes for the indirect spend of the client.
You will be accountable for overall performance of the specific categories that are allocated and ensure alignment and adoption, where appropriate, with both internal processes/systems and the e-marketplace. Create the best possible value across the categories
TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S NECESSARY THAT YOU HAVE:
- Category management experience (typically 5/7 years minimum) on indirect materials in a category management structure, and strategic sourcing working within a Matrix organisation.
- Clear understanding of strategic procurement and category management methodologies and associated toolkits
- Capable of leading commercial discussions and developing sound commercial solutions for their respective categories
- Private sector experience beneficial
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
