For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

PMO/PROJECT SUPPORT - DATA ANALYTICS (3865)

Our client's aim is to reduce spend across a large part of the project portfolio. The PMO we are looking for has a keen interest in data analysis combined with financial management knowhow to support this effort.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- A strong analytic background with a flair for numbers, ideally with finance experience
- PMO experience and experience in what it takes to run successful projects in a global organizations with a diverse stakeholder base
- Excellent use of Excel and the entire MS Office stack of products
- IDEALLY BACKGROUND IN A SIMILAR ROLE IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY AND GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF BANKING OPERATIONS
- Driven and analytical to understand and find solutions in a complex but rewarding environment
- Collaborative in nature, a consultant and a team player
- Flexible, professional and motivated to add value in the team and the bank
- Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication skill

YOUR ROLE:

- Establish transparency on external spend in the different cost categories
- Collaborate with business representatives across all divisions to identify and develop a portfolio of both tactical and strategic cost savings opportunities
- Document and oversee portfolio of cost savings opportunities including business case generation and oversee their implementation with business representatives globally
- Provide PMO support to the project team, in particular documenting and maintaining opportunities trackers, financials savings, project plans, regular project reporting and creating of steering committee presentations
- Engage with external parties to benchmark services and cost of transaction versus industry peers
