We are looking to recruit a Night Porter that can bring bags of enthusiasm, personality and vibrancy to our Nights Team. We need an individual who can work towards deadlines, successfully completing all tasks on the nightly checklist to the highest standard
The Role
* Ensure all guests are welcomed to the hotel and high levels of customer service are demonstrated at all times.
* Check guests in and out.
* Answer the telephones.
* Carry out room service orders and orders from the residents bar.
* Ensure that during night audit, all financial information is checked, corrected if necessary and completed without errors.
* Ensure the hotel and external areas remain clean and litter free.
* Empty ashtrays.
* Perform regular hotel security walk rounds.
* Ensure that all end of day banking balance with relevant PMS micros/Fidelio.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
* Opera or similar booking experience desirable
* Strong customer service skills
* A proactive approach to completing all tasks
