The Mere Resort are looking for individuals to join their Food & Beverage Team as Casual Hostesses, who's day to day job is essential in the smooth and effective running of our Restaurant. Our Food & Beverage Hosts are key members of our team, responsible for seating guests and managing table set ups to deliver excellent Guest/Member experience.
As a Food & Beverage Host you will have a real passion for pleasing people as our guests are very, very demanding and rightly so. Our ethos is about indulging yourself in luxury surroundings - Well it doesn't come more luxurious than The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.
The Role
As Food & Beverage Host your day to day duties may include
* To meet and greet all guests
* To manage booking systems to ensure booking flow correctly.
* To build key relationships with members & guests on a daily basis.
* To be the 'Face' of the outlet areas.
* To ensure the lobby area guests are served and looked after according to SOP's.
* To maintain a good working knowledge of the facilities within The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, and its history.
* Take orders for both food and drink, and ensure all documentation and transactions are recorded accurately.
* Take payments and ensure all monies handled are reconciled at the end of the shift.
* Ensure the areas that you are responsible for are adequately stocked and appropriately available to meet customer and colleague needs and requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
We are ideally looking for somebody with:
* Experience of working in a minimum 1 rosette restaurant
* Experience within the Hospitality Industry
* Somebody who comes from a strong Food & Beverage Background
* You must be a "People person"
* Strong Interpersonal Skills
* The ability to engage with guests and members
