CASS Technician

A leading investment bank is looking for a CASS technician to join their Global Custody Business, supporting compliance with the FCA and CASS regulations. The role will involve interaction with a number of business functions, including Reconciliations; Operational Risk; Securities Operations and Finance practices.

This is a contract role for an initial 3 months, with opportunity for extention and can pay £300-£350 per day.

Experience:

* Production of CASS management information reporting and oversight documentation for monthly governance oversight meetings.

* Liaison with business unit managers on the compilation and review of internal incident reports.

* Liaison with Bangalore based Reconciliations team and business units globally regarding aged CASS related exceptions.

* Daily calculation and processing of unapplied funds balance sheet cash posting requirements.

* Custody operations functions will also be required.

Candidate Background

Fully familiar with the Financial Conduct Authority's CASS regulations and their applicability to global custody.

In depth knowledge of the financial services industry gained within an operations environment will also be required.

Experience in production of management information reporting and/or reconciliations will also prove advantageous.
