Due to ongoing success with new projects and substantial growth our client has a number of new opportunities in their Investment Operations team in Edinburgh. Our client is currently looking for a Cash Settlements Officer to join the Cash Settlements team.

The Cash Settlement team is responsible for the cash settlement within our clients Investment Operations department. The Cash Settlement Officer is responsible for settling trades with external fund managers and various clients.

Your Responsibilities
-CASS Rules; to ensure daily tasks are completed in line with CASS regulations as directed by Manager
-To ensure that information is communicated effectively to necessary parties and in a timely manner for purpose of rapid resolution
-To settle all trades, rebates or distributions in an accurate and timely manner.
-Ensure client funds are repatriated to Clients on a daily basis.
-Ensure that all debtor and creditor positions are chased and accurate.
-Generate and monitor FSA Client Money Calculations for the company and its clients
-Match transaction data contained on trade confirmations
- Monitor timely settlement of all trades and inter company payments to ensure breaks are minimised at all times
- To develop professional and technical knowledge and skills via training & development in order to meet Continuing Professional Development requirements.

What experience are we looking for?
-We are looking for people with experience of delivering an excellent level of service in a similar role
-You will have strong communication skills and a strong appetite to succeed
-Experience in using Excel for data analysis
-The ability to work accurately and to deadlines
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Previous experience of working in a financial company
-Knowledge of banking and Financial Services
-Able to demonstrate understanding of Financial Conduct Authority regulations
-FS Industry recognised qualifications - IAQ, Investment Certificate or CFA or working towards (desirable)

You will be a hard working, proactive individual with an eye for accuracy. You must be able to ensure that completion of daily tasks are true and accurate and ensure that completion of daily tasks are executed in a timely manner and deadlines are met.
