Cash Funding Analyst

Allegis Global Solutions are the onsite recruitment partner at RBS and manage all contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M tom, spot and same day funding for G11 + emerging market currencies
- Account funding and monitoring; Euroclear, domestic accounts
- Credit line monitoring and forecasting
- Balance reconciliation, investigation and reporting
- Controls; breaks, intersystem reconciliation, control accounts.
- Work with the Front Office to improve efficiencies and increase communication
- Work with Finance to assist in the funding cost allocation process.
- Work with Middle Office to ensure late trades/amends are captured
- Work with Treasury to ensure correct balance distribution and cost allocation for shared nostros
- Review service and escalate any problems with regards to domestic agents to network management team
- Improve present procedures and adapt procedures to changing requirements and conditions
- Ensure new business is on-boarded with maximum efficiency and control
- Ensure migration initiatives are funded correctly
- Participate in initiatives to target root cause of funding costs and exceptions
- Increase profile of the funding team across the business and educate other areas on funding impacts

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Funding experience preferable (will consider settlements if not)
- Equity or Equity Derivative product knowledge
- Financial services experience
- Understanding of Controls
- System's knowledge - TLM or Intellimatch
- Working knowledge of SWIFT
