Cash Analyst

Leading Energy Trading house is searching for a cash analyst to join their oil and gas settlements team in London. This role is for an initial six month contract and involves taking responsibility for efficient and controlled operation of the Oil and Gas Trading Cash process.

Responsibilities:

- Daily allocation & payments of cash for Third Party and Group companies across all entities. This includes input of currency equivalents for foreign currency settlements and releasing parked documents to the correct chains.
- Foreign Exchange clearing in relation to hedging deals
- Daily reconciliation - settlement of exchange cash settlement.
- Ad-hoc Duties and queries Contra's, Swift requests, payment and receipts queries, clearing queries, Margin splits, Write offs, FX queries and audit requests.

Requirements:

- Thorough understanding of Cash Processing Procedures in a large and complex organisation
- Attention to detail and accuracy are fundamental
- SAP Experience - essential alongside exposure to online banking portals.
- Ability to manage workload independently to clear performance measurements with little supervision
