Cash Accountant - Global Brand - 6 Months - £17.00 per hour

CASH ACCOUNTANT - GLOBAL BRAND - 6 MONTHS - £17.00 PER HOUR  

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for a Cash Account to join the team in Middlesex for a 6 months assignment.

ROLE OF THE CASH ACCOUNTANT

- Bank reconciliations
- Cashbooks/Cash management
- Monthly journals - cash/GL related
- Processing weekly VML driver payments
- Processing the VTS payments three times a week
- Processing AP Payments via BACs system and manually on the banks
- Other miscellaneous payments (payroll related/inter-co)
- Producing Cashflows and forecasts
- Cover for cash staff as needed
- Other duties as needed
- Working knowledge of UK and US GAAP
- Ability to work in a team to manage and streamline 3 day close
- Ensure monthly compliance with Company SOX controls requirements
- Prepare journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Oversee daily JV settlements
- Manage multiple I/Co billing and settlements

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF THE CASH ACCOUNTANT

- 1 to 2 years experience
- Oracle 11i experience is essential
- Experience in hi-tech US company preferred
- Experience with SOX and US GAAP preferred
