To work as part of a team providing support for the independent Traffic Commissioner (TC) to enable him to undertake his statutory duties in relation to the licensing and regulation of goods and public service vehicle operators. In particular the handling of the administrative arrangements for public enquiries and impounding hearings and implementing the TC's decision/instructions; the provision of case papers to appellant bodies; the drafting of submissions on casework; the issue of warning letters; the issue of Section 9 statements and Section 43 certificates and processing of in-office revocation cases
