CAS (T) Consultant

We have an exciting position for a telecommunications security expert to join a Tier-1 consultancy as the thought leader in CESG Assured Services (Telecoms).

The selected candidate will provide advisory insights to C-Level executives in the UK service provider ecosystem regarding telecoms sector regulations and sufficient security levels for the transmission of sensitive data.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary specialist team.

Work will include:

- IT Internal Audit (including supporting delivery of audits requiring IT specialists)
- IT Governance
- IT Risk management
- IT Process & Controls
- IT Resilience

Desirable skills:

- CISA, CISSP or similar certification
- Ability to gain DV or SC clearance
- Experience with assessing or developing IT strategies and enterprise architecture.
- Experience in delivering or assessing IT transformation projects.
- Cyber security experience.
- Understanding of compliance mandates and good practice guides, such as PCIDSS, ISO27001
- Data analytics experience.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and routing
- IT resilience and disaster recovery experience.
- Government and telecommunications experience
- CESG Listed Advisor Scheme CLAS
- Knowledge of PSN (Public Sector Networks)
